The Research On Design Quality Management For The Municipal Drainage System

With the rapid development of the city’s expansion and infrastructure construction, more and more public works are constructed. Municipal construction is related with people’s life. So, quality of the construction design is not only important for the final effect of the project and the interests of people, but also the fundamental of the design institute’s survival in the fierce market competition. Therefore, improving the design quality of municipal management has important economic and social significance.This paper describes the G institute quality management system, combined with H project, a detailed analysis of the process at the municipal sewer network design, quality management, including management of the planning stage, the input stage and output stage and the verification process. According to the analysis, we sum up the problems of project H quality management, such as the design process lacked quantifiable quality management objectives, lack of quality control of the whole process of design, quality management measures may not be implemented, the organizational structure is not conducive to improving the quality, the scope of the project team members function is not clear, and the lack of communication between owners and experts, design tools fall behind. Then using the theory and method of project management, through PDPC method, quality circles and other tools of quality management, this paper suggests some targeted improvements to municipal sewer network design projects similar with project H, including the development of quality management objectives designed to enhance the quality of management and supervision of the design process, the design team to optimize the organizational structure and clear terms of reference for the members of the design, the use of advanced design tools and the like. We hope that this study will provide a useful reference to the quality of management in the future municipal sewer network design projects and improve the quality of management of similar projects.
