From 2015 China investment in construction energy saving will be more than RMB 5 Billion. In 2020 the proportion of city green building construction will increase to 50%. In the past 10 years, a large number of green buildings in China operates more energy consumption than expected.In United States, 70% buildings which obtains LEED certification consume more energy than the same function of general construction buildings.On the other hand, the environmental quality of China is not so optimistic. North China suffers a different degree of haze weather. PM2.5 has come to our life. The improvement of indoor air quality has gradually become the subject of study.BOX system is highly in line with the above two themes: energy saving and environmental protection.VAV system is the main equipment of the variable air volume air conditioning system.VAV could adjust the air supply according to the indoor temperature changes to improve indoor air quality.VAV system has been widely used abroad, such as Europe and America, VAV has gradually replaced the fan coil system with high energy consumption.And in China, with the energy saving and environmental protection strategy has become a national strategy, VAV application is also gradually popular.But the main components such as VAV controller is basically imported brands, such as Siemens,Johnson Controls, Honeywell.VAV system application, fault solution method is not mature. While foreign research on this product has been relatively mature, so we can learn from the experience of foreign countries to solve VAV energy saving problems.The main failure of VAV energy saving is two aspects: product itself and VAV controller logic. The product itself is mainly to explore the size, the range of product energy saving effect, in order to give the VAV producers of the best recommendations.For the controller issues,we can collect VAV application and VAV lab’s data to find the energy saving solution.The research in this paper will be combined with the practical application of VAV and the reference of the same field of domestic and foreign research,which results to develop the best model of energy conservation.
