Traditional fire helmet only stay at the function level, unable to meet the urgent demand of emergency command on the scene real-time information. As the fire fighting equipment upgrade, intelligent fire protection helmet is imperative. With network technology and micro-electromechanical system(MEMS) as the core technology, the function of fire helmet embedded in the integration of a variety of innovative information technology, real-time perception at the scene of the fire environment information and firefighters real-time information, and transfer to the fire command system.This paper provides a kind of intelligent helmet system for fire rescue, whose character is: intelligent fire helmet is a complete intelligent information system, integration of a variety of sensor and actuator module. Intelligent fire helmet on the physical basis of the traditional fire helmet, add hardware platform, hardware platform with main controller as the core, in addition to the sensors, actuators, short distance communication(WIFI) module, power supply module, etc. Sensors will collect information not only through the master controller to organic light-emitting diodes(OLED) of smart helmet micro display, also through the main controller through the network to send to the fire brigade command terminal. Intelligent fire helmet will implement the intellisense and transmit information, can let the firemen and commander sharing information between rapid precision, improve the efficiency and accuracy of the fire command, judgment, decision, ultimately to achieve the intelligent of the fire, and better to ensure the safety of a fireman’s life.This paper studies the intelligent fire service system contains information perception subsystem, short distance wireless communication subsystem, and multi-source information fusion processing research. Information perception subsystem adopts the infrared radiant heat sensors’ fire temperature, the temperature and humidity sensors to firefighters, ambient temperature and humidity; by GPS receiver and barometric altimeter combination positioning for firefighters location information. Among them, using infrared radiant heat sensors to fire temperature is the first of this paper. The main controller uses raspberry pi.Short distance wireless communication subsystem uses WIFI technology, remote control, convenient and easy to use.This paper introduces each module function of intelligent fire helmet and systems, and were tested respectively, basically achieved intellisense environment information and firefighters itself, the article finally studied the multi-source data fusion algorithm, using the system measured data fusion algorithm are verified.
