Recycling of waste materials is the main body of the recycled materials in the concept of sustainable development in today’s world,. There are great distance in the recovery efficiency. In the practice of sustainable development society, it has become inescapable topic that the recycling and reusing of the construction waste.In terms of recycled material, first of all, the thesis studies waste materials recycling status abroad, literature and other research, due to foreign in material recycling started earlier, both recycling technology and recycling efficiency are far ahead of us, hoping thereby helping China’s development in the recovery of waste building materials using, then China’s building materials recycling situation analysis, find out the problem in terms of recycled materials in our country. The thesis tries to promote the development of our country building materials recycling use from the material value and cultural value of mining.Due to its long history and culture of our country, there are many old cities with the style of old times. The city is in the process of renovation and repairs, which inevitably produced a lot of construction waste. Because of the imperative old city renovation,it is particularly important that ideas and thoughts and the construction waste reuse, explore in the old city transformation process of waste materials recycling technologies and methods.The transformation of the old city in Wuhan on the project "road, Qingdao area", according to the area of the building and environmental status are discussed, and combined with the waste of construction materials and environmental regeneration were studied, so that it can for China’s transformation of the old city project construction of green ecology, energy saving and environmental protection, sustainable development gradually improve and make recommendations.
