This paper by selecting the A-grade desert tourism scenic spot as the research object, from macro to micro research sequence, firstly study on the spatial structure of A-grade desert scenic spot, and the spatial relationship between A-grade desert tourist attractions and the relying on urban, Then analyzing the characteristics and classification of the tourism projects in A-grade desert tourism scenic spot, and finally study on the spatial layout of the tourism projects in the scenic area.The results show that:(1) The spatial distribution of A-grade desert tourism scenic spot:china’s A-grade desert scenic spot as a whole was the cluster distribution, with a more concentrated distribution area at the junction of Gansu, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia provinces, and it is consistent with the results of the adjacent distance analysis.
