Architecture Design Research For School Of Chemistry And Chemical Engineering

The expansion of education scale and the rising of production-learning-research conception make request on the multiple function of university architecture. As an integrate building of teaching, scientific research and experiment, the scientific research experimental building in university attracted a wide spread attention.Chemistry and chemical engineering department building plays an important role in the scientific research experimental building in university with special characteristics in the utilization, function needs and space design. However, the current domestic research on the Chemistry and chemical engineering department building are still relatively lacking and there are many problems in those completed buildings. Thus, it is necessary to carry out targeted research on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department buildings.Based on the above mentioned facts and backgrounds, this article does a research on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department buildings in aspects of using features, functional organization, space design method and inside and outside environment through document research, field research and contrastive analysis.The first part is raise of question. The article briefly discusses the characteristics and development of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department in this part. And it also makes a summary of the problems in current design through the research on relative cases in domestic, which provide an evaluation criterion and design basis for functional requirements analysis and space design.The second part is problem analysis. Functional requirement’s determining mode and function space of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department buildings has been discussed in this part. At the same time, this article proposed suggestion to functional requirement so as to estimate the scale of each function unit of the building.The third part is problem solving. This article looks at the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department buildings in the world as a reference to studying building function and space design. After that, it provides some suggestions about the design features and design pattern.The last part is conclusion and prospect. Research achievements are concluded in this part.
