China is in the period of highly economic development, the national construction needs many batches of professional architectural experts, and it brings opportunities for the architectural education and produces a higher demand for.How to foster the architects with the professional attributes who are in the consistence with the epoch requirements is the major problem which the educational field wants to solve.The view identified generally in current is to engage the socially practical request to foster the experts with the integrated attributes which are the comprehensive knowledge structure and the cooperation and communication ability.In order, many academies make a large quantity of the attempts on the educational practice, including course arrangement and didactical method innovation. As didactical activity site, architectural department hall system has the function to implement educational thought and provide room for the actualization of didactical techniques, and becomes the most direct object by which architectural scholars feel space and environment subconsciously.However, the current situation of Chinese architectural department hall system is that many academies have no the specific hall, and the old halls have a huge difficulty to satisfy the demand. On the background, the essay attempts to research architectural department hall design from how to suit the architecturally educational development.The essay makes internationally excellent architecture department halls as examples, and analyses architectural department hall's elementarily functional composing, spacial attributes and organization modes; makes a discuss on architectural department hall indoor space environmental characteristics and the construction techniques.The essay is divided into 5 chapters, and the 1st chapter is introduction, which states the background, purpose, meanings and research methods of the topic.The 2nd chapter: The section states the formation of modern architectural education, and analyses 'the academism' delegated by national school of art in Paris and theeducational mode which advocates the classically aesthetic education concept and the related didactical mode; the modernism architecture educational concept and the relevant educational mode emphasized to integrate with technique and delegated by 'hauhaus' and the significant sense on the completion of hauhaus hall. Besides, it discusses the traditional customs of Chinese modern architecturally education. The 3rd chapter analyses the impacts of architectural education development on architectural department hall design.lt summarizes the Chinese currently educational reform and the new requests on didactical environment,makes two universities' architectural department design and development process as practical examples for analyse, and gets a conclusion that architectural department design should be consistent with architectural education development.The 4th chapter: the modern architectural thought suggests that, the function of construction is the content and the space is the form. The section divides the indoor space of architectural department hall into elementarily functional space and public space through the induction on the elementary functions in order to analyse the spatial characteristics on the spaces and the relationship between each other. Besides, it discusses deeply the many organization modes of space, and compares with each other by practical example. The 5th chapter: The section researches the design of architectural department hall space environment from the angle of user, makes human multilayered psychologically demand and behavioral feature as design gist and assessment standard, researches mainly on the spatial environment of design classroom and public space, and discusses which kind of environmental atmosphere for working and studying lecturers and students need and the feasible techniques to create the environment.
