Research On Innovative Incubator Design In Era Of Mass Entrepreneurship

As a wave of entrepreneurship, the state vigorously called for mass entrepreneurship,mass innovation. At this era, state put forward “Mass Entrepreneurship Space "which is a comprehensive business service platform. Innovative Incubator, as the public record entrepreneurial space vector space ", is a new mechanism and new pattern, creating a business,investors, intermediary organizations, experts, business mentor and the creative and entrepreneurial enthusiasts crowd and all kinds of entrepreneurial resources and gathering new business atmosphere.As the well development of the Innovative Incubator, there is not only the building type of a single shared business office space, but also coffee shops and apartments which combinating startups with leisure and living. These buildings are built for helping collecting resources and establishing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Thus, the problems that how to provide better entrepreneurial space for entrepreneurs and establish a sound entrepreneurial community need to be focus on solving when designing novel startup incubators.Currently, the research on Innovative Incubator is still on the macro level, economic policies and institutions, research in the field of architectural design is relatively insufficient,which leading to Innovative Incubator building design is lack of guidance. The research of the author is based on the nature of phenomena, from theory to practice, and then verify practice and theory each other. Firstly, through analysis innovation incubator buildings’ new characteristics compared with traditional incubation buildings, using relevant theories of industrial cluster effect, enterprise life cycle, environmental behavior from the macro to the micro level to research the principal contradiction in the design. This research focus mainly on the innovation incubator location, plane layout, space and visual effect. Secondly, this research focuses on the analysis of the main influence factors of innovative incubator building design. Then, draw lessons from the domestic and foreign outstanding cases, combined with the actual situation in China, study the design method of innovative incubator buildings’ site selection, layout, innovative space and architectural style. Finally, pratice the above design methods through the design project to test it’s value. The purpose of this paper is to provide some useful and accurate reference materials for architects about the design of the innovative incubator in the future.
