With the construction of the highway developing from the eastern plains to the west mountain in our country, highway tunnel is rapid developing. The great passengers of highway and complexity breeds of freight make the probability of accidents of road tunnels increase every year. Therefore, operations management department is concerned about the fire evacuation problems of the special long highway tunnel.Common forms of highway tunnel are single hole two-way highway tunnel and double hole one-way highway tunnel. Single hole two-way highway tunnel is usually seen in the secondary and the following road, which is two-lane tunnel for single hole to drive. Two-hole one-way road tunnel is seen more common in the first grade road or highway, and tunnel is in pairs around the web in cross-channel, connected to sub-hole and one-way traffic.Highway tunnel with single hole and one-way refers to the highway tunnel with single set, length of 3000 m and above and a one-way driving. Highway tunnel with single hole and one-way due to the scarcity of their works, there is no mature fire conditions evacuation plan. This paper bases on the rebuilding project of national expressway network in the G85 line, which is in the section of Zhaotong to Huize on the highway of Chongqing to Kunming. And paper is on the basis of the existing channel tunnel fire evacuation and research of rescue programs, finally recommends a "reliable, economic and reasonable" evacuation program.Based on the cases data collection of tunnel fire at home and abroad, this paper analyzes and studies the experience and lessons of the cases. The main works includes as follows:(1) Investigate and analyze the various types of rescue channel setting schemes for person evacuation at home and abroad, such as parallel pilot scheme, a vertical(inclined) well scheme, independent refuge and adjacent tunnel and so on. Besides, the analysis of feasibility of the application and advantages are conducted through engineering examples and the operating condition.(2) Combined with the analysis results of survey, we compare and select rescue scheme mainly to consider the safety, project and economic feasibility. This article puts forward the overall design thought of the disaster prevention and rescue scheme for the single hole and one-way long highway tunnel, and puts forward the guiding advices for the further design and construction of project engineering.(3) Through theoretical analysis, real fire simulation experiment, smoke movement and person evacuation data analysis, we obtain reliable theoretical basis and basic data to guide the implementation of the design scheme.(4) This paper recommends the rescue channel setting schemes for person evacuation of Da Kouzi and Qiu Jiaya tunnel according to the actual situation of relying on the project.The research findings of computer simulation and real fire test results show that the evacuation scheme under the condition of tunnel fire is feasible and effective. It can orderly evacuate the person in the tunnel in a short time.
