Through the analysis of the proposed project in Qinghai Gama Yangqu-Yellow River bridge site and type with its influencing factors, further for the bridge location selection research. Gama Yangqu Yellow River super major bridge, the main content and main conclusions are as follows:(1) The proposed project area is mountainous terrain, at an elevation of between 2,600 and 3,100 meters, the sparse vegetation, bare ground, strong physical weathering. Quaternary stratigraphic formations along with widespread deposition of many types, consisting of sand, gravel, silt, sandy loam composition. Therefore, the project area tectonic stability in general, by the regional seismic intensity of VII degrees.(2) Based on OD survey data traffic trends, induced traffic and transfer traffic forecasts, the evaluation results of the proposed project during 2012, 2015, 2020, 2025, 2029, 2030, 2035, 2036 traffic forecast for each year values were 1185 pcu / d, 1492 pcu / d, 2192 pcu / d, 3614 pcu / d, 5287 pcu / d, 5652 pcu / d, 9320 pcu / d and 9405 pcu / d.(3) With the main bridge site area control engineering, network planning and the relationship between the towns and villages along the route, industrial layout, resource distribution, environmental sensitive points, road construction materials and transport conditions, and the convergence road network, contact the enterprise and other aspects of towns and villages elaborate bridge construction site area, and from the impact with the existing provincial highways and along the economies of connectivity coordination, the impact of terrain on the route layout, the impact of Yangqu Reservoir water level of the power plant, environmental protection and other factors, bridge site main factors. Through the advantages and disadvantages of the bridge site analysis of the technical program, a reasonable K line, BK wire bridge site plan, recommended the bridge site plan for the sheep song village(K line) program.(4) For a comprehensive analysis of project construction conditions to develop sheep song village(K line) to adapt programs to bridge large span continuous beam bridge(or continuous rigid frame), suspension and cable-stayed bridge. BK line(205 + 820 + 205m) single-span suspension bridge approach roads program, while having a shorter length, and may avoid the adverse geological paragraph, four-lane two-way forward to meet the requirements of vehicular traffic, etc., but much higher than the project cost(65 + 5 × 120 + 65m) concrete rigid frame- continuous beam. K-line program(65 + 5 × 120 + 65m) concrete rigid frame- continuous beam engineering low cost, and can make full use of the existing road, villagers travel to meet the requirements, recommend solutions for the bridge-bridge(65 + 5 × 120 + 65m) concrete rigid frame- continuous beam.
