Research Of Mobile Health Terminal Interface On Usability Theory

With the continuous development of science and technology, the integrated thinking of fusion technology has play an important role in human living style subliminally. Based on the development of mobile technology and the tendency of popularization and miniaturization in medical device, the mobile health has achieved wide attention. The rapid development of mobile health has a high economic benefits, which prompts the medical device developer pursuiting profits without attending usability. Meanwile, there is not a clear standard to guide the mobile health product design and manufacturing, which leads to a mixed market. Thus, it is of great significance to introduce the usability into the design and evaluation of mobile health device.This paper focuses on the usability of mobile health devices to analyze the usability design of elements of software interface and hardware interface and conclude the evaluation standards. Firstly, it outlines the background, purpose and significance, and emphasizes the significance of introducing usability into the design of mobile health devices. Secondly, it summarizes the human-machine interface and usability theories, and introduces design methods, design processes and application based on usability theory. It also analyzes the users of mobile health devices to make sure the needs of users and establish the user model. Thirdly, it analyzes the usability of elements of mobile health and establishes the evaluation standards. It analyzes the usability in interface through display devices, words, icons, pictures, interface style and the layout form of software interface. Then an eye tracking experiment is set to find out the suitable forms of layout for mobile health devices. In the process of analyzing usability in hardware interface, the semantics, the touch feeling, the visualization and the model design of hardware interface is analyzed. It raises a quantitative evaluation standard for evaluating theinterface through product attribute, operational attribute and emotional attribute. Finally, a software interface is designed to be an example according to the fieldwork, ensuring the user needs, concept design, concept choosing, usability design and usability evaluation design processes. After the questionaire evaluation, according to the results, it proves that using the usability in design process can improve the design quality and provide practical reference for further research on using usability for product design.
