Regional Urban Design Contemporary Commercial Pedestrian Street

Commercial pedestrian street is an important type of contemporary urban city commercial space is the biggest attraction of an urban public space, pedestrianizedstreet just combined product of economic activity and walking, and more importantly, provide the public with an exchange, leisure, entertainment consumption and publics paces, while also becoming an important manifestation of cards, city culture and spiritual connotations of the city, but also the understanding of an important window outside the city. Its planning and construction has become an important means to improve the urban functions, and shaping the image of the city.In recent years, the building presented regional characteristics become an important object of study, because architects and planners will pursue as its architectural characteristics and diverse new breakthrough, at the same time, as harmonious coexistence between man and nature of the new building ideas and a new direction for future development, therefore, subject to more and more concern and attention, continuous research and practice has also made certain achievements. So that people in different parts of the aesthetic, cultural, and ideological and cultural concepts all have different views, but also to development of the city showing a diversity of characteristics. Regional Characteristics rich concept has gone deep into all aspects of building design and planning,urban commercial pedestrian street as a part of the building, but also inevitably affected by its far-reaching impact.The research and thesis is produced in this context and the environment, the present paper the geographical characteristics of the contemporary theoretical research results,through the natural, cultural, historical and spiritual place four angles interpretation, and with the design and commercial pedestrian street planning combined study the principle of contemporary commercial pedestrian street to be followed by regional design, methods and expression. We are hoping to provide a basis for future commercial pedestrian street design.
