| Solar energy appeared in the energy stage with great advantages. The output power of photovoltaic cells will change with the changes of the ambient temperature and the sunshine intensity. If you want to get the maximum output power, you should track the maximum power point of the photovoltaic cells. But there are many factors to effect the output of the maximum power of the photovoltaic system. And the output of the maximum power is a nonlinear variation. The traditional fuzzy control method of tracking speed is relatively slow. And the shock is relatively large, unable to meet the tracking performance of the photovoltaic cell.Therefore, this paper decides to use fuzzy PID control algorithm to design a MPPT controller based on DSP of the photovoltaic system.Firstly, the paper described the research background of the photovoltaic power system, analyzed the domestic and foreign development present situation, and researched the principle of photovoltaic generation. And then analyzed the equivalent circuit and the output characteristics. At the same time, extended it to the photovoltaic power generation system, and analyzed the principle of maximum power tracking point. Compared to the common tracking principle, such as constant voltage method, incremental conductance method and perturbation and observation method etc.. Fuzzy PID control method and fuzzy control method is proposed in this paper, and the PID control method is introduced in detail. A photovoltaic cell simulation model and Boost circuit model of MPPT, and in Matlab/Simulink environment, respectively on the fuzzy control method and fuzzy PID control method was simulated. Compared them and analyzed the difference. We can find that if the light intensity invariant and sudden changes in two cases,fuzzy PID control method can quickly response to the external environment and the waveform of shock is relatively small, the stability of waveform is better. Finally, using TMS320LF2812 processor as the main controller of the system designed the processor peripheral circuit.
