Since 1970 s, the world’s power industry from the power production and construction scale to the power supply and power grid technology has been a profound change. China’s sustained and rapid economic development, the rapid increase in the size of the power grid,the complexity of the operation has been greatly improved, the reliability of electricity has put forward higher requirements. The traditional fault prediction technology of single equipment has not been considered the uncertain factors such as sensor error, transmission loss and so on. And it has been unable to meet the requirements of the modern power system. In recent years, the world has occurred more than a large power grid collapse accident, making the health status prediction of power grid has become an important branch in the field of power system research.To solve these problems, the concept of power system health diagnosis and evaluation is introduced in this paper. Health condition assessment of power system through the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)-Entropy method and Fuzzy Theory. By comparing the health status of complex power system with human body, the health diagnosis index system of power system is established for the health diagnosis of power grid.This paper constructs the index system from the historical foundation, the online operation, environment influence three aspects constructs the health diagnosis index system of power system, and for the first time add fault indicators item, and according to the factors that affect the power grid operation to select the indicators, clear metrics have defined by using correlation analysis and the theory of reliability analysis, improve the index system, so as to make the evaluation more objective, accurate and convincing. By analyzing the diagnostic data, find out the problems and trends of the power grid, and then forecast the trend of the whole power grid, and give some appropriate suggestions to the existing problems or possible power system fault. Provide decision-making basis for operation and management of the power system.By taking the actual power system as an example, the practicability and effectivenessof the proposed method are verified by the study of diagnostic data in the long term analysis of a certain power grid in Southwest China. This paper by using the simulation software, the feasibility of the power system health diagnosis model based on Fuzzy theory is verified by the change of power flow.
