With the improvement of the status of the marine strategy, marine engineering equipment can be developed rapidly. Marine engineering plays an important role in various kinds of shallow sea and deep sea missions such as marine science, oil and gas exploration, underwater rescue and military application. Strong corrosion, high water pressure and complex biological conditions, the underwater robot equipped with a manipulator has become an important means of ocean development. Because the hydraulic drive has the characteristics of high power mass ratio, good movement and change of direction, the hydraulic cylinder is used in the robot manipulator to perform the action. With special working environment and working performance, high reliability of deep-sea hydraulic cylinder is an important performance index.First, for deep-sea hydraulic cylinder in the marine environment of strong corrosion, deep-sea high pressure and biological adhesion special working conditions, in order to meet the requirements of the design of lightweight and high reliability, therefore, on the base of analysis of conditions in deep sea, from the matrix material, surface treatment technology, special structure, seal structure were for resistance of environmental design, to reduce or eliminate the harmful environmental effects, improve the deep-sea hydraulic cylinder of resistance to the environment. Then the failure mode of hydraulic cylinder and its influencing factors are analyzed and studied, On this basis, combined with the stress strength interference theory, the stress and strength are treated as random variables, the reliability of the key components is studied in the design phase, and the reliability model is established, then its reliability is calculated and verified, and its reliability is verified to meet the requirements of practical engineering applications.Secondly, in order to improve the reliability of deep-sea hydraulic cylinder, through T-S fault tree analysis method, the T-S fault tree of the hydraulic cylinder is established, which cylinder failure as the top event, the fuzzy possibility of its fault is studied, the fuzzy probability of component failure in different mission time is determined, then the fuzzy probability of each fault is analyzed. And the T-S probability importance of each component of the deep-sea hydraulic cylinder is studied. It provides theoretical guidance for improving the reliability of hydraulic components.Finally, on deep-sea hydraulic cylinder after processing were studied, the joint of the sealing treatment; the test platform hydraulic system design, The hydraulic system of test platform is designed, and various hydraulic components of the test platform is selected, the test scheme is designed, and the test result is analyzed; determine the corrosion resistance of reliability test plan, gives the principle figure of test equipment to determine the the test purpose and test projects.
