After the reform and opening up, there is a rapid development in China’seconomic, the railway construction has also suffered a golden period of development during this time, building a lot of railway bridges which has beenmore than thirty yearsnow, after the long-term operation, part of the railway bridges has been a little "tired", appearing a lot of different disease, many of them need to set the speed limit to keep safety, which has seriously restricted the local development of railway transportation, if we built new bridge instead of the old one,it’s very expensive and also affected the normal operation. Therefore, it is necessary for us to test these old bridges, according to the characteristics of disease we can suggest useful reinforcement method to improve the condition of old bridge, then they can continue to serve the national construction.This paper select part of railway bridges from Cangzhou to Huanghua Port as research object to investigate its disease status, withcollecting the information in the field, itelaborate bridge’s main diseases,introduce the causes,and propose prevention measures according to the characteristics of the disease.In order to know the Sixty-six Pai Gan Bridge’s normal operating condition, we tookstatic-loadtest on the bridge,and compared the test-datawiththe limits of specificationto analyse its structure, the results show that the bridge’s stiffness is lower than normal, we should take measures to reinforce the bridge.Based on the test-datain the field I created the finite element model of Sixty-six Pai Gan Bridge,consideringthe material’s nonlinearity of steel bar and concrete to set up the model, then I used the model updating theory to correctthe parameters, after the correction the model can accurately reflect the condition of the old bridge.According to the old bridge’s operational status, the reinforcement methodswere proposed, including pasting the steel plate method, pasting the CFRP method and the externalprestressing method, the article described the reinforcement theory,the construction technology and the advantages-disadvantages of each reinforcement method in detail,and set up thevarious finite element reinforcement model to judge the strengthening effect. According that the reinforcement method was finally choosed.
