Music emotion visualization is an important means of music emotion express and music content, through the way of audio-visual combination, which give users a better visual experience. Tangible User Interface represents a new interaction process that interactive objects have changed from virtual objects in the digital world to physical objects in the real world. This change will reduce the complexity of the user’s operation greatly and bring a better user experience. With the development of smart devices and wearable devices, music emotion visualization presents diversified, combined with interaction characteristics of Tangible User Interface, designing and implementing a music emotion visualization system based on Tangible User Interface, which has a great significance to explore music emotion express.Through literature review, analysising and puting forward three major characteristics of Tangible User Interface. Then combined Hevner emotion model ring, selecting eight emotion objects with the Augmented Objects Technology and Music Emotion Visualization Technology to explore a new display and control emotional music visualization system and named TMusic. In TMusic, users can control augmented objects number, type to change the music and change visualization.By using the method of contrast test and questionnaire to test the user experience of music emotion visualization system based on Tangible User Interface, Exlopring which whether has a lower learnning cost and a better interaction experience. After the TMusic and general music emotion visualization software comparision test, analyze and summarize the advantages of TMusic.In conclusion, music emotion visualization system based on Tangible User Interface can reduce the cost of learning and help users to have a better understanding of music content, also bring a better user experience.
