With the development of urbanization, the construction of drainage pipe increases every year, and the scale of drainage pipe network also expands continuously. The results of running monitoring information of drainage pipe indicate that most of the pipes would appear damage, and some new pipes would also have some structural and functional damage phenomenon because of various reasons. At the same time, some new construction projects would affect the surrounding existing drainage pipes and resulted in the part damage. In a word, above of these affected the safe operation of urban drainage.Drainage pipe network is the vein of city, which undertakes these tasks of sewage collection and rainwater transportation, and it is also the foundation of safe and stable operation of city. At present, the present situation of our country’s drainage pipe has some differences compared to the standard of developed countries. Some drainage pipes had a big security risk due to out of repair for long years, for example, the fracture and leakage of sewage pipe resulted in road subsidence, and also a large number of rain couldn’t be eliminated timely which resulted in the gathered water of pavement and affected the traffic operation. All of these bring some pressure on the social stability. Meanwhile, the sewage collection system has not been perfect, and sewage was still discharged into the river directly. Especially, after the upgrading of sewage disposal plant, a large number of high-quality recycled water was supplied into river, which improved the quality of urban water environment. While, the river would be still polluted secondary due to waste water couldn’t be collected entirely. So, the drainage pipels which has hidden danger in inner city area need to be modified and improved as soon as possible.Pipe repairingtechnology appeared with the aging of pipe. Urban water supply and drainage system became more and more aging and was damaged inevitably as other structures. The bigger buried depth of pipe led to unable to see the actual status of underground pipeline on the ground. The destruction of pipe not only resulted in the interruption of service, but also the owner’s economic losses and great public pressure. Also, the reconstruction of the pipe is not only expensive, but also will bring environmental and social problems. Under some circumstances, such as busy city traffic, environmental requirement, cultural relic’s reserve, crops, vegetation reserve, highways, railways, buildings and rivers etc., the pipe’s owners and relevant government departments must minimize the excavation of the pipe, even zero excavation. So, the trenchless pipe repairing technology is of great significance.The trenchless pipe repairing technology is a new kind of technology to repair the underground pipe without the excavation of ground, which not only assures the normal operation of the drainage pipe network, but also minimizes the influences on traffic and environment, and has well economic and social benefic. In this paper, the trenchless pipe repairing is as the research object, to investigate the classified method and design method of the trenchless pipe repairing engineering, and also to evaluate the using effects of different trenchless pipe repairing technologies. The present research will have guiding significant on the urban trenchless pipe repairing engineering.
