| The development of railway is related to national economy and people’s livelihood, which has become the important national basic infrastructure and means of transportation. The present situation of the shortage of railway transport capacity, has formed a serious constraint to the national economic development and people’s living standard.The advocate of "energy saving" promotes the development of high-speed rail industry, therefore improving the ability of railway transportation capacity is much imminent. In order to give suggestions from a technical point of industry development, the paper analyzes the development of high-speed rail technology competition situation around the world, insights the key technology and compares the frontiers of key technologies between China and overseas, and visualizes the results, based on patent information. The analysis combines patent measurement with social network analysis, with the help of JAVA/TDA/EXCEL/UCINET,etc. The data source is from DII patent database. In this way, we can find out the problems existed in China’s high-speed rail development, and provide countermeasure support for technology competitiveness.First of all, in order to master the technology competition of the global high-speed rail, we conduct a full scan of the development processã€countriesã€organizations and technological fields based on patent information.Secondly, we build high-speed rail core technical chain, then choose two of all fields, to identify the key technologies. By combining statistics analysis with the social network analysis, judging the technology life cycle, establishing the knowledge map of co-occurrence DII manual codes, we identify the key nodes. The differences between China and overseas on key technologies have supported advises for our enterprises R&D.Thirdly, by comparing the difference of key technology frontier between China and overseas, we can find out the weaknesses in R&D innovations, via the method of burst detection, and setting up a path of frontier changing over time.Last but not least, based on the analysis above, we detail the high-speed rail industry in our country’s disadvantages. Suggestions are given mainly from the point of technology. |
