In seeking people, industrial construction, environmental elements among the road of sustainable development, just a very attractive and has the potential of design entry point. Ecological sustainable design, rational use of natural light, the significance lies not only to create high-quality light environment, a higher level reflects the possibility of environmental practices, and also contains a wealth of possibility of aesthetic and humanistic practice.Modern factories are usually very huge because of the industrial production, they often need skylights for side windows alone cannot meet the needs of the indoor lighting. Skylight is the main ways which buildings get natural light by, a proper skylight design can not only provide a comfortable indoor light environment, reduce the lighting energy consumption, but also reshape the inner space and create a expressive architectural style. Therefore, the author’s study focused on the skylight optimize design of single-story industrial building, so as to give some advises on skylight design of this type of factories in Chongqing area.The paper is divided into five chapters, in the order of present questions, analyze problems and solutions.Chapter 1: Introduction.
