With the development of the cities, elevator is used more frequently in people’s life, and the demands of elevator are increasing.The vertical vibration of elevator is an important factor for the passager’ comfort, and will wear or tear the elevator components, degrade the performance and service life of the elevator. In order to improve the elevator’s performance, it is significant to research the vibration of the elevator in the vertical direction.By using the theoretical research, computer simulation and experiments, this paper analyses the vibration characteristics of the elevator in the vertical direction of the the traction ratio of 2:1 elevator. It includes the following three aspects:(1) The model of traction ratio of 2:1 elevator were simplified into an 8 DOF dynamic model of the vertical direction and the model parameters are described; By comparison, the research methods were given in this article analysis: modal analysis and MATLAB analysis.(2) When the elevator was at different working conditions, changed the load and the lifting hight, the rigidity of the car platform damping rubber stiffness, spring wire rope stiffness and the car sheave stiffness, analysed the changing rules about how each parameter affected the natural frequency of each floor, so in practical applications, elevator parameters could be adjusted accordingly to avoid elevator resonance frequency. By changing the rigidity of the car platform damping rubber stiffness, the spring stiffness of the rope and the stiffness of the car sheave, we discovered the impact of various parameters on the vibrating amplitude of the elevator car, which in practice may be appropriately changed to reduce the vibrating amplitude of the car to improve the smoothness of the elevator.(3) To apply the inertial force analysis to the model, and obtain the changing rules of each parameter(the rigidity of the car platform damping rubber stiffness, spring wire rope stiffness and the car sheave stiffness); through simulation analysis, obtaining the curves dynamic load factor of four conditions, which was used to provide theoretical reference for dynamic load design; using the experimental tool EVA-625, it proved that the conclusion how the parameters of the load and height affect the elevator vibration is right, the acceleration and velocity equation used correspond to the rules of the operation of the elevator, and the simulation method for solving the braking dynamic load factor is reasonable.In summary, obtaining theoretical research and research methods has certain reference value for further improvement of the elevator.
