In recent years,with the vigorous development of higher education in China,many colleges and universities have built new campus or expanded the old campus,and the university campus has been upgraded,and its fire-fighting design has a special aspect.The investigation found that the problems existed in the design and operation of the fire control system in the campus mainly include: differences of fire number in fire design,the definition of protection scale of regional temporary high-pressure fire water supply system is fuzzy,the difficulty in the linkage control of fire protection system,and the leakage of fire buried pipe network leads to maintenance and management difficulties.Through the problems in the operation of large-scale campus fire control system and the characteristics of its own building fire fighting in recent years,this paper optimized the fire water supply system of university campus by taking the fire control network reform in the campu A of a university in China as an example.This paper introduces the classification and characteristics of the commonly used indoor and outdoor fire-fighting water supply system,and summarize the types of indoor and outdoor fire-fighting water supply system.Combining with the spirit of relevant normative documents,this paper puts forward the calculation method of fire starting number in campus at the same time,and discusses that the maximum protection scale of the temporary high-pressure fire-fighting water supply system in the campus area is the 400000~500000 square-meter construction area,On the basis of this,the design scheme of fire protection system in a campu is put forward.according to the characteristics of district architecture,this paper established a hydraulic model of indoor fire hydrant outdoor ring network in the campu A of a university by using EPANET,and also proposed an optimal design scheme for adding connecting pipe between three sets of regional temporary high-pressure firefighting water supply system in a university.The simulation results shows that the optimized design can obviously increase the outlet flow and pressure of the fire hydrant,thus the extinguishing efficiency and the reliability of the system are improved.In order to improving the efficiency of the leakage detection of the fire pipe network in the campus and finding the control leakage in time,this paper established the DMA partition metering and leakage management system of the fire water supply Pipe network in the campu A of a university by using the DMA technology,and determined the leakage warning value of fire water supply pipe network in the campu A of a university.Through establishing the whole life cycle cost model of the fire water supply pipe network in a campus,the analysis shoes that the whole life cycle cost of the inner liner stainless steel composite pipe is the lowest under the DN150 pipe diameter,It is recommended that the fire-fighting buried pipe network Pipe diameters below DN150 are lined with stainless steel pipe.
