Research And Practical Application On Digital Substation Automation System

In recent years, with the development of substation automation echnology and modern network communication technology, digital substation has become one hot issue of substation automation research. The development of the substation primary and secondary equipment, especially, the development of substation automation system, making the substation procedural operation technology become possible, and in this way, the operation efficiency can be improved, as well as the level of substation safe operation.In this paper, based on the core standard IEC61850 about digital substation, starting from the digital substation automation system, the project design of digital substation automation system is expressed by three parts: ntelligent terminal function and performance design of process layer; equipment function and performance design of spacer layer; network design of network layer. The digital substation automation system has been constructed which meet the demand of digital substation. For the drawback of traditional substation and IEC61850 agreement substation, that interval and tickets operation content increases, operation interval can’t be power outages caused by incomplete operation tickets validation, which will bring hidden danger to ower system. Digital substation uses the GOOSE technology realizing communication between spacer layer and primary and equipment directly, and he drawback can be avoided, and the significant advantages of digital substation in safe operation is embodied.Based on actual electric power production management, cored with EC61850, after solving the digital substation based on IEC61850 procedural operation technology, microcomputer five prevention system and other key echnology, taking the Zengcheng Sanjiang 110 kV substation as an example, hrough GOOSE network transmission, establish and optimal the digital ubstation automation system, then applied it in electric power production directly. By programming operation, the level of substation automation and ower grid operation are improved effectively, besides that, the break time of reaker is shorted and efficiency rises. Nowadays, electric power enterprise pays more and more attention on efficiency, programming operation can shorten outage time, implement the commitment of serving society, set a good corporate image, and there will be a better future.
