As a hot topic in the air conditioning industry and a necessary link in the national sustainable development strategy, nowadays the research on energy consumption of central air conditioning has been gained comprehensive attention.In order to find the deficiencies of the design scheme and energy conservation measures optimized form the engineering practice, which can provide reference information to the central air conditioning energy in the future food industry, the practical operation of a dry milk factory central air conditioning system has been analyzed.This paper mainly includes the following aspects: in the first place, to find out the energy saving potential of the system of key point, the overall design structure of the central air conditioning system and each part of the selection of air conditioning equipment is introduced, and the energy consumption of each partition central air conditioning system also is analyzed; in the next the power consumption, evaporation temperature, condensation temperature and other data are analyzed, and the distribution of the air conditioning load and COP value are calculated to verify the design of the air conditioning unit is reasonable; then, according to collecting the running data of water pump power consumption, calculating and analyzing the energy efficiency ratio of the water system,the results show that energy saving effect is significant when water pump frequency conversion technology is used in central air conditioning system; finally taking JK1-1 as an example, to find the most economic operation mode from the work of production operation system, the energy consumption of all kinds of terminal air conditioning system is analyzed, and the highlights of effect about the runner purify air conditioning unit in milk powder production workshop.Several results are found through analysis on running conditions of central air conditioning. First, the cooling load of air conditioning design is too large,and the main part of the air conditioning system are usually loaded partly in most of running times. Next, the treatment of cooling water in the air conditioning water system need to improve. Last, in the process of production, there are some problems such as air condition cold load per unit of energy consumption is higher, especially for the ending air conditioning equipment, hot and cold offset, uneven heat transfer, direct exhaust energy waste and so on. This conclusions of the shortcomings of the design of central air-conditioning system in this project can serve as references for the future research on air conditioning system.
