Currently, building energy consumption has accounted for30%of the total energyconsumption in our country, and the proportion of energy consumption of public buildingsis growing, and Air-conditioning accounted for a Large proportion of the total energyconsumption in large public buildings. The energy-saving of large market buildings hasurgent need to address. Large market is one of high consumption building in publicbuildings, research energy consumption of large market building is a great significance forpublic building energy efficiency. In this paper, the indoor thermal environment of two large markets in Xi’an city duringcooling and heating was measured and the actual operation parameters of the air-conditioning system was monitored. Though testing the supply water temperature, thereturn water temperature and the flow rate of chilled water, the value of COP of therefrigeration system can be gotten, the value of COP of the mall A is4.58, the COP ofsingle chiller is4.69; the value of the mall B is4.85. Analyzing the measurements of indoorthermal environment, indoor temperature of the Wanda mall A is in line with the set valueof26℃, the temperature of the Wanqian is generally higher; the shops and the mall havemoderate temperature, the temperature of the corridor is very high in sunny weater, exceeding the range of the thermal confort, it’s because that glass curtain wall has a greatinfluence on indoor thermal environment. The building energy consumption analysis software-EnergyPlus was used to simulatethe hourly energy consumption throughout the year of the two buildings. First, Analysis ofthe load characteristics during cooling and heating period of the two markets, and providethe buildings’ energy consumption constitutes. For mall A, the total cooling load per unit area is72.7kWh/m~2, the total heating load per unit area is28.6kWh/m~2; for mall B, thetotal cooling load is90.8kWh/m~2, the maximum heating load per area is51.5W/m~2.Second, Simulation the annual cooling and heating load of the two markets when usingdifferent glass materials and different shade measures. In addition, the heat recoveryequipment which can recover the energy of exhaust air was studied, and the energy-savingeffect was analyzed. Compared with the standard glass curtain wall, the cooling load whenusing the Low-e glass curtain wall is decreased by4.07%, the heating load reduced of3.8%.When using venetian exterior shading, the cooling load is reduced by15.53%than whenthere is no shade measures, the cooling load using shutter interal shade reduced11.38%,and the load reduced3.86%when using ordinary interal shading. Finally, according to the problem about operation of chillers, simulated and analyzed thetotal energy consumption of the air-conditioning and the power consumption of allequipment when setting the different chilled water supply temperature and the temperaturedifference between the supply chilled water temperature and the return chiller watertemperature, energy can save0.36%when the chillerd water temperature increased from7℃to11℃, and energy consumption was reduced by9.34%when the temperature differenceincreased from5℃to8℃. The simulation result show that improving the chilled watertemperature and the temperature difference can help to the energy conservation of chillers. In addition, the energy saving effect of the heat recovery equipment was studied.
