2K-V transmission is a kind of composite planetary with small teeth difference including a double –stage driving, the first stage driving is the external involute spur gear transmission, and the second stage driving is the internal cycloid gear transmission. 2K-V type speed reducer has the advantages of high drive ratio, high stiffness, small size, small backlash clearance, etc., which has a good application prospect, and is widely used in various types of robot arm joints. In this paper, the main dynamic characteristics and vibration testing experiments of 2K-V type speed reducer are studied and analyzed.This paper introduces the principle and the moving characteristics of 2K-V transmission, calculates the transmission ratio of the reducer, analyzes the forces on the cycloid wheel and the planetary gear。Internal 2K-V type reducer main linear vibration source is analyzed.2K-V reducer machine vibration system model has been established based on existing 2K-V reducer dynamics model. The free vibration equation of the whole machine is derived by taking the 2K-V320 S type speed reducer as an example, and the first two order natural frequencies of the system are obtained. According to the structure and transmission principle of 2K-V reducer, analyzes the 2K-V reducer operating state of the main excitation source, through the experiment of vibration test, to verify the effectiveness of the established vibration model.The three-dimensional model of 2K-V reducer is established by using UG software, and the material parameters of each component are defined, and the mass and moment of inertia of each component are determined. The meshing stiffness of the planetary gear and the sun gear, the meshing stiffness of the gear, and the bearing stiffness of the rolling bearing are calculated.A vibration testing system is developed for the high precision 2K-V type speed reducer which is developed independently. The test system consists of two parts, vibration test bench and test data acquisition system. We use LMS SCADAS multi function data acquisition vibrometer and matching LMS Test.Lab software for vibration experiment. 2 K-V 320 S reducer vibration test experiment was carried out under the working condition. we collected signal in the time domain and we can get the spectrum of vibration test based on FFT transform.Finally comparing with Japanese prototype vibration test data, we can judge the self-developed of 2 K-V deceleration motor mechanical properties. Experiment shows that the self-developed 2 K-V reducer running in good condition, in good meshing state, the vibration and noise is small, and the dynamic performance is close to Japan is the speed reducer.
