In the product design, the appearance of the beauty of form is often the establishment of reliable and safe product structure. Can be seen, the same is to achieve a functional structure, the structure can cause a difference in product features and user experience, etc..The product structure can be divided into many types from the angle of function or physical form, and the expansion structure is a branch of the product structure. Now, the telescopic structure is widely used in the product design, whether it is from the function or the cost or the form of the point of view, has its irreplaceable side. It is good for us to understand the meaning of product structure to product function and form, and to understand the structure of the product.In this paper, the author firstly analyzes the basic characteristics of the stretching structure. Including: the expansion of the structure in the narrow and broad sense of the definition, the definition of a multi cross disciplinary; according to the results of previous research and the actual product design research, the classification of the telescopic structure is summarized; the movement of the telescopic structure of the characteristics of a qualitative and quantitative description.Secondly, the research on the structure of the structure is carried out by combining the shape and function of the product, and the movement track of the product is analyzed.Then, from the point of view of function, the function of the product is analyzed and summarized, and the process of the development of the structure system is the process of the product to meet the needs of the people.
