Research On A New Trailer Braking ABS Sysytem

This paper is based on the cooperation of Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Shandong Kangjian Auto Parts Co., LTD, to study a new type of throttling stepless variable pressure control valve of trailer. Focus on this new type of throttling stepless variable pressure control valve, develop a new set of electronic control system, forming a new trailer ABS braking controller.Anti-skid Brake System is often abbreviated as ABS. It is mainly applied in the vehicle braking process, which is a car that make the rotation of the wheels and the degree of slip can be automatic control system. Installed the ABS system, the trailer would show excellent controllability, no matter emergency braking in rain or snow road, even in the ice road vehicle emergency braking is still in the driver’s control within the scope of the vehicle and no skid, swing tail, discount and other dangerous situation, at the same time significantly shorten braking distance, people getting the effective safety guarantee. Trailer is Commercial truck, including drafter and container, also known as the combination vehicles. Trailer includes the full trailer and semi-trailer, full trailer generally refers to the van trailer, the semi-trailer is generally refers to the flat car, or flat on the container semi-trailer container car. In this article, we collectively called trailers. At this stage, the domestic trailer braking system design confusion.In this industry,it is a common problem, although there is ABS manufacturer enterprise in our country, the stability and control logic of product is often not satisfactory.After multiple communications with engineers of Shandong Kangjian Auto Parts Co., LTD, and several experiments and improvement, finally, we designed the new hardware circuit and the PCB, and programmed the control program, combined a new electronic control system and mechanical valve. Formed a brand new trailer ABS braking system controller.Main Content:1. Analyzed the status of the application of domestic trailer ABS, and found some problems caused by the trailer ABS is difficult to popularize.2. Analyzed the trailer brake system and the trailer ABS system, and the working principle of trailer ABS system.3. Introduced a new type of mechanical mechanism of throttling stepless variable pressure control valve and the advantages of the new type of control valve.4. In view of the new type of control valve control requirements, hardware selection, to design the hardware circuit and PCB, meet the control requirements of control valve. Considered the environment,we used the watchdog, multivibrator and so on. On the premise of meet the demand increases the stability of the circuit, easy debugging and maintainability. Stable and easy to use ABS controller design was completed.5. According to control requirements and hardware configuration, set the timer and interrupt resources reasonable allocation. Under the guarantee function and the principle of stability, to write the program..6. Before loading test of ABS controller, making sure the power supply, anti-interference, correct diagnosis, and the function of control logic worked.
