Research On The Impact Of Urban Expansion On Urban Climate

With the reform and opening up in China, socialist market economy developed rapidly, cities at all levels have obvious urbanization process. As the same time, the rapid development of China urbanization will cause many problems in our country like rapid increase in urban area and population, energy consumption and the artificial heat emissions increased dramatically, urban climate environment deterioration. Urban climate is an independent climate affected by urban development and human activities in the regional climate. Urban development has become one of the main factors influencing the urban climate.This paper will focus on the relationship between the expansion of urban and the change of urban climate. This study is based on the cases set in Wuhan. In order to study the influence of urbanexpansion on urban climate, we through research the current situation of urban land and the future plan of Wuhan, setting different urban expansion cases.Then coupling urban canopy modelof different case、climate parameter in WRF(Weather Research and Forecasting Model)and performing computer simulation. By analyzing the results of computer simulation, studying the relationship between urbanexpansion and urban climate change, summarizing the impact of urban expansion on urban climate, to provide scientific theoretical basis for the urban planning and design.Based on the study of the relationship between the expansion of urban and the change of urban climate, put forward some suggestions of solving urban thermal environment, which is more reasonable for urban planning.
