Abstract/Summary:
The optimization settings and redundancy scheme of the virtual machines in public computing services of the warships is a key issue of systems’ stability design. Based on the premise of ensuring the stable operations of the ships’ business, this paper designed a scheme of optimization settings of the virtual machines in pursuing of high utilization of computing resources and proposed a redundancy scheme of the multi-level virtual machines that support redundant systems considering the importance requirements and urgency requirements of different business.This paper consists of four parts. The first part gave the contents and structure of this paper,introduced the purpose and significance of the research and the research status of the optimization settings and redundancy of the virtual machines. The second part made a research on the basic theory and technologies of settings and redundancy of the virtual machines, mainly discussed the feasibility and the advantages of using virtual machines technologies to achieve virtualization of ships’ public computing services. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm, an optimization algorithm of virtual machine was proposed, then the basic theory of this study was discussed through analyzing the implementation mechanism of redundancy of the virtual machines. The third part studied on the optimization settings of the virtual machines, this part presented a hybrid optimization algorithm by combining the advantages of genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm. The fourth part is a research on resource redundancy of ship’s multi-level virtual machines through analyzing ships’ business differences in the aspects of importance and urgency.The ships’ business include special business and general business. For the special business,considering its feature of high stability, a scheme of implementation process and implementation mechanism of hot backup, cold backup, spare parts replacement, and the remote disaster recovery was given. For the general business, due to the feature of its low level of importance, a mathematical model was built to illustrate the implementation process and mechanism of the redundancy scheme for the multi-level virtual machines.The paper studied on the hybrid optimization algorithm to achieve the optimization settings of the virtual machines and proposed mathematical models. Based on the differences of ships’ businesses, a research was conveyed on the redundancy scheme of the virtual machinesconsidering all kinds of fault conditions, and built a relevant mathematical model. The research results for this paper have certain values in theory and practical significance in the virtual machine settings and virtual machines redundancy.
