Automotive driveline torsional vibration is the main source of automobile vibration and noise, affecting the comfort and safety of the vehicle. With the continuous development of the automotive lightweight construction, people for the requirement of increasing the vehicle ride comfort, powertrain torsional vibration problems become more prominent, so the driveline torsional vibration significance clear.In this paper, the concentrated mass discretization methods transmission system torsional vibration mechanics model is established, design and construction of the clutch torque transfer performance test bed, the system’s torsional vibration characteristics of the automobile drive system are studied. This paper intends to do work is as follows:1. On the basis of the analysis of research history and present situation at home and abroad, this paper describes the torsion vibration of automobile transmission modeling and experiment method, introduces the basic principle of transmission and the clutch; Analyzing the main source of the automobile drive train torsional vibration, focus study on the engine and clutch excitation source. And studied the method for calculating the free vibration and forced vibration.2. On the basis of a certain type of car driveline, use torsional vibration analysis theory,determine the principles for simplification and powertrain driveline equivalent system for each cartridge components equivalent simplified; the establishment of 10 degrees of freedom lumped mass centralized method of mass inertia disc- flexible shaft- damping discrete approximation model, established the parameters of the matrix model with Matlab / Simulink simulation obtained under freedom vibration system natural frequency and main vibration mode; analysis the cause of driveline torsional resonance engine critical speed.3. Research on the clutch engagement process to reverse the effects of vibration on the drive train, detailed analysis of the four stages and the main factors of the clutch engagement process. Clutch engagement process 4 degrees of freedom torsional vibration model is established, simulation analysis of the twist angle size slipping stage and co-operation of the clutch engagement stage.4. For further analysis and study of the influence of the vibration of the clutch, establish transmission torsional vibration simulation test bench, the bench consists of mechanical system, control system, data acquisition system and real-time data testing system. It can transfer torque characteristic of the clutch engagement process performance testing and accurate working condition simulation; under steady working condition of torsional vibration driveline experiment was carried out, and the test data collection and test result analysis.
