The Research Of Engine Hardware In The Loop Test System Based On Veristand

As the vehicle emission regulations promulgated and the requirement for energy-saving and emission rised, the engine electronic control system is needed more for its function. In order to achieve good engine power performance and low fuel consumption which make the engine controller development more difficult. It is the inevitable trend for engine electronic control technology to develop an engine controller HIL(hardware-in-the-loop) automatic test system. HIL as a key link in the "V" development mode is an effective way to make the controller development work more efficiency and cost less.The main research contents and results are as follows:1. This paper has analyzed domestic and foreign technology of the HIL simulation platform, then adopted the modular design theory to build a kind of test system with versatile and extensible using Veri Stand. The feasibility of the test system has been demonstrated.2. The engine working principle and mathematical model has been researched to found the dynamic mathematical model of engine based on the theory of average value.And the model has been verified using the mathematical software Simulink in this part.3. The test system has been built using configurationdevelopment mode to integrate NI open hardware and software platform. The man-machine interface and automated testing software system has been made using graphical programming tools using Veristand..4. This paper has made an experiment and research using the real-time simulation test system to debug the real-time simulation test system and verified its function. The real vehicle enginecontroller has been testd to validate the system scheme and prove its feasibility.
