Now with the requirement for quality of life is higher, environmental pollution and waste of resources are becoming more and more serious.All the countries of the world implement sustainable development strategy that is imminent. And in all industries,machinery industry caused the most serious environmental pollution and resource waste,So the sustainable study on the existing mechanical products is to improve the design that is very practical significance.Although the existing sustainable evaluation has got certain achievements,still belongs to the primary exploration stage,and has yet to establish a comprehensive sustainable evaluation system.On the other hand,the current studies basically consider that the environmental influences is the most in need of improvement,and do not fully consider the influence of other factors.TRIZ tools each have advantages and disadvantages,in view of the different problems of mechanical products, people do not sum up, and can’t effectively match different problems and related TRIZ tools.Aiming at the above problems,the main contents of this paper includes the following aspects.1. Build sustainable comprehensive evaluation systemSustainable comprehensive evaluation system mainly includes five aspects of environment, economy, people, resources, and energy,these five aspects have respective impact indicators, and each indicator will be influenced by relevant factors either.Taking all those affecting factors into account,Sustainable comprehensive evaluation system is established.2. Build the model that looks for products’ weak pointsThe current research mainly is the place where the most serious impact on the environment is as a product is the most in need of improvement, this article further considers synthetically sustainable requirements and improving properties,and combined with the method of weight analysis to find where is the weak point.3. Build mechanical product sustainable improvement design modelFirst of all, from two aspects of the reasons of problems and the direction to solve problems to classify problems,then it summarized as simple problem and invention.For simple problems,people need to read a large number of literatures to summarize the method of knowledge base to solve the problem;For the inventional problem,all stages of mechanical products’ problems are analyzed and summarized firstly.Then analysis the differences and relations between TRIZ tools,and aim at different problems to select the TRIZ tools.4. The dishwasher is chosen to prove the feasibility of the modelThe WQP8-9001 dishwasher was taken as an example to be analyzed.First making use of the sustainable analysis to find where is the weak point, then sustainable improvement method is applied to form a new scheme,And the final validation of new scheme satisfies the requirement of sustainable development.So the example has verified the correctness of the related theories and models.
