Standby power auto-closing device plays an important role in the power grid. When the work power after disconnecting due to failure or other reasons, the standby power supply or other normal work power can rapidly and automatically start, in order to asure users normal power supply. But common standby power auto-closing device can not meet the reliability of power supply chain collusion substation. Then, the distance standby power auto-closing device occurs, but the device is still not popularized in Guangdong power grid, the availability of device in substation has not been validated.Under the pressure of reliable operation in Zhaoqing power network, the distance standby power auto-closing device must be adopted. Therefore, Zhaoqing bureau needs to build a set of application strategy of the distance switch device. During the research process, by adopting the method of PDCA cycle management, the distance the standby power auto-closing device in action logic design, site acceptance, applied in the daily operations, etc, was standardized.In this paper, in the process of research, mainly in the following work:(1) through the first generation of the distance for the device in the 110 kV Ma ’an station and South station, a set of suitable application strategy with the situation of Zhaoqing city bureau was put forward, and advantages and disadvantages are analyzed according to the using situation, and puts forward improving methods;(2) improved the application strategy, and the strategy practicability of distance devices applied in 110 kV Jindu station was checked, including how to apply strategy at the design stage to guide device logic setting, to implement the application of the strategy in the field test work, including work risk and precontrol, experiment preparation, experiment content and so on;(3) the examination of the strategy applied in the device daily operational inspection, including daily patrol, device clamp cast back, setting value changes and the regular test and so on, to introduce the application effect. Through the checkout of actual application, this paper conduct a specialist research of improving the reliability of second generation of the distance equipment in the running process. By taking the distance line for the switch device can guarantee two transformer substation connected by 110 kV link do not lose pressure under all kinds of line fault, and finally reached the expected function requirements and design indexes.
