| With the coming of Information age, Chinese construction industry is developing to the direction of informationalization which was promoted by the appreciation and application of BIM in China. Some local governments in our country have published compulsory policy to the application of BIM. However, nowadays, the application and popularization of BIM are not ideal which are influenced by many factors. In fact, the promotion of BIM starts from the application of BIM in projects. Therefore, it is significant to do research on the factors affecting implementation of BIM in building projects.Firstly, based on the research of the literature and books, this paper illustrated the definition, characteristic, and application of BIM. It could be found that BIM use has something to do with the participants in engineering project, conditions of BIM project, application environment. Then influencing factors studied by experts and researchers were summarized and classified. On basis of this, the paper summarized the 28 influencing factors BIM application related to the building project.Secondly, with the help of the Delphi method, this paper determines the relationship between the influencing factors. Combining the factors and their relathionship, factors network model was established based on SNA and they were analyzed with the SNA method of node degree, betweenness centrality, status centrality and partition measures. Based on this, the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to the result of analysis.Finally, a practical project of BIM’s good application was studied. Through doing research on the main content of the application of BIM, project organization, implementation process, its influencing factors were collected, and enlightenment were gained from this case. The result of this paper’s research could provide reference for the application of BIM in practical projects, and make contributions to the promotion of BIM in the building industry. |
