The issue of manufacturing system of random events be replaced by random failure is a common processing method of unreliable manufacturing system field. Currently, synthetic technique, decomposition technique and simulation technique are mainly method to people for the field, but some business software can’t be used directly to analytic study for the hybrid manufacturing system disturbed by random events, that due to Specific conditions restrictions. Therefore, this paper based on the secondary development of Arena based on Visual Basic language, the typical manufacturing cells, such as, hybrid serial lines, assembly lines and parallel lines are taken as the research object to relevant manufacturing system performance analysis and evaluation simulation technique. The main research results include the following four aspects:Firstly, take advantage of those techniques to do numerical results based on grasping synthetic technique and decomposition technique. Concluded the characteristics of synthetic technique and decomposition technique, respectively, the causes of error by the use of those methods are analyzed. After acquiring synthetic technique and decomposition technique, that will lay the foundations for the simulation technique research of hybrid manufacturing system.Secondly, the simulation frame of different manufacturing cells, such as, hybrid serial lines, assembly lines and parallel lines are analyzed based on analyzing simulation requirement. Illustrate some problems that need to handle with Arena, respectively. In the end, illustrate the development process and constituent part of the simulation platform of hybrid manufacturing system. The frame of secondary development of hybrid manufacturing system is determined.Thirdly, a series of technology problems are solved, for examples, simulating rules of "Blockage" and "Starvation", large-scale modeling technique, obtaining expected statistical data, secondary distribution of buffer capacity, achieving rule of dispatching parts, etc. Meanwhile, the typical manufacturing cells, such as, serial lines, assembly lines and parallel lines, are taken as models to show the specific modeling and simulation process. The system performance analysis software for hybrid production line system based on computer system is developed.Finally, Numerical results not only show the effectiveness of the technique, but also verify some techniques and conclusions offered by former scholars. This technique can to some extent satisfy the researching requirement of manufacturing systems disturbed by random events, such as breakdown of machines, and be utilized to design, analyze or estimate the large-scale manufacturing systems or some flexible manufacturing systems.
