In order to avoid the destructive consequences of the earthquake, scholars in the civil engineering proposed the control methods of earthquake from the traditional "resistance" to "guide" after constant practices, which promoted the rapid development of seismic isolation technique. On the basis of the friction pendulum isolation bearings, a variety of new isolators are designed. Triple friction pendulum isolators attract more attention of researchers because of its excellent adaptability and strong energy dissipation mechanism. In different seismic excitation, the isolators present different isolation bearings slide combinations to form different bearing stiffness. So it can meet the multiple-seismic demand of earthquake input mechanism in different fortification level. In the actual project, irregular structures were more vulnerable to torsional damages in the seismic excitation, so in this paper applied to historical analysis of seismic to analyze these bearings which installed on the structure, the main research contents and results are as follows:Firstly, the article discusses the triple friction pendulum isolators mechanical modal, then the isolator is simulated and analyzed by using finite element software ANSYS to draws force-displacement curve at different stages. This isolator can meet the multiple structure seismic standards.Secondly, According to standards from different countries which defined of irregular plane structure, the paper selected two kinds of irregular structures, irregular torsion and concave-convex irregularity. This paper used Triple Friction Pendulum isolation element in SAP2000 V17.2 finite element software to simulate isolators bearing. According to the analysis of the different purposes and the upper structure parameters to set up different triple friction pendulum isolation bearing.This paper adopted the basic time history analysis method to analyze two kinds of structures which are irregular torsion and concave-convex irregularity. The paper compared isolation effectiveness of two kinds of isolated and non-isolated structures under bi-directional earthquake ground motion. The results show that response of irregular frame which set up triple friction bearings has significantly reduced and avoid torsional vibration.The analysis method and result in this paper can provide some reference to further research and application of the uplift resistance type triple Friction Pendulum bearing.
