Earthquake disaster due to crustal movemant caused a catastrophe to humanity,with the continuous expansion of the city's building size,earthquake have an impact on human security of life and property seriously.Meanwhile earthquake has a strong uncertainty,so how to conduct seismic design of building structures has been an important topic in the field of structural engineering.Traditional ductility architecture relied on elastic-plastic deformation which structural components occur to consume seismic energy which ensures the safety of the stucture under great eathquake can not meet the requirements of the security.Structure isolation technology is a brand new way of earthquake resistance,where the base isolation technology has been practical.FPS is a classic passive control device,since it can only absorb a certain range of frequencies within the seismic waves and will enlage the displacement of isolation layer and upper structure,thus has certain limitations.NES is a absorber which can achieve TET and has broadband vibration absorption,transient energy absorption,rapid energy consumption and other features.Based on the excellent performance of FPS and NES we optimize and combine them to be a composite isolation device called FPS-NES to make FPS technology have a better isolation effect based on original,in order to achieve the development objectives of more safer,more reliable,more practical,more durable,more economic.In order to study the the isolation performance of FPS-NES composite isolation device,the main work of this paper include:(1)Based on the background research on FPS dynamic vibration absorber and NES,etc,introduce the basic concepts of NES,elaborate on the NES damping mechanism theory,analyze its energy consumption characteristics,list the vibration differential equations and solving cubic stiffness.(2)Study the basic theory and seismic performance of the FPS-NES composite isolation device,establish dynamic equation of this isolated structure,clarify its energy situation,meanwhile the analysis of the conditions of energy transfer and deduced the mass ratio of primary structure and subsidiary structure.(3)Use ABAQUS finite element analysis software to build a three-tier framework equipped a isolator of composite friction pendulum with NES,analysis structural modal,compute structural vibration period,vibration mode,the effective participation of quality parameters.Choose EL-Centro waves,Accel artificial seismic waves,Taft waves,through simulating acceleration response,maximum story drift angle,energy and the form of damage under ground motion analysis the isolation performance of FPS-NES composite isolation device.At the same time,determine the optimization parameters of this device by changing the coefficient and slide radius.(4)On this basis,contrast a isolator of the framework with FPS-NES composite isolation device to ordinary framework and to the framework with FPS.By contrast superstructural acceleration response,displacement,energy and other areas observe the superiority of a isolator of composite friction pendulum with NES.
