At present,the base isolation technology of the seismic isolation design is the most widely used in the world and the laminated rubber isolation bearing is the most widely used in engineering in China,but only using the rubber cushion isolation system also has some problems.in order to develop the diversity of base isolation technology,and do not reduce the isolation performance of the isolated structure,Yunnan Kunming Steel Structure Co.Ltd.and Kunming University of Science and Technology seismic technology research center jointly developed a new generation of friction pendulum bearings,to meet the domestic needs of isolation technology.Based on the research status and engineering application at home and abroad,finding in most of the domestic seismic isolation analysis is only used one-way seismic wave input model,and for seismic isolation analysis of two-way and three direction earthquake wave input model,there is not comprehensive and systematic analysis of the seismic isolation performance of the friction sliding isolation structure and the stress state of the isolation support under the three kinds of seismic actions.Therefore,to compare the seismic isolation performance of the isolation structure and the stress state of the isolation support,comparing the seismic isolation analysis of a practical project under the one-way,two-way and three direction earthquake action by SAP2000 software in this paper,including the interlayer shear ratio of the structure,interlayer displacement angle,roof acceleration and hysteretic energy dissipation of support,short term maximum and minimum pressure stress,horizontal slip and vertical compression displacement,instantaneous displacement and residual displacement.The results show that the effect of bi-directional ground motion on the horizontal displacement and residual displacement of the bearing is the greatest and the bearing has the best seismic isolation effect;the seismic isolation effect of bearing under three direction ground motion is better than that of unidirectional ground motion and the vertical ground motion has a great influence on the short maximum surface pressure and the vertical compression displacement of the bearing.It can only get the calculation results of the maximum axial force of the isolation bearing unit in SAP2000 software,can not see the stress state of bearing,for the analogue simulation of simulation of friction sliding pendulum bearing,most scholars have studied the influence of bearing friction coefficient,curvature radius,verticalpressure on stress state of bearing various components.Therefore,This paper for the solid model of the friction pendulum bearing conduct the uniform loading and the variable speed loading of three kinds of peak velocity by the ABAQUS finite element software,it is used to analyze the performance of the bearing(stress state)and the energy dissipation capacity of the support.The research results show that for the relevant model test and finite element analysis of the friction pendulum bearing,it should be considered for the influence of the elastic deformation of the concrete pier on the bearing test and calculation results;the loading method of variable speed is the best way to study the performance of the friction pendulum support and the seismic isolation performance of the structure;the stress amplitude of each component of the friction pendulum support increases with the increase of the peak velocity;The friction energy dissipation of the friction pendulum support increases with the increase of the peak velocity under three kinds of peak velocity variable speed loading.
