Due to the rapid development of economy, the cars have been gradually widely used, and the qualities of road surfaces and tire performances have a great significance on driving safety, ride-comfort, fuel economy and ambient noise. High-quality tires with good pavements can boost the auto industry, improve the quality of traffic and develop the national economy. Therefore, the study of the interrelation between tires and pavements is of great significance.In the paper, the advantages and disadvantages of various tire-ground performance testing machines were weighed and some improvement methods about the shortcomings of traditional testing machines were proposed to make the tire-ground test-bed simulate the actual road conditions to the maximum extent, so that the test results were more accurate. The paper mainly studied how to establish the test device which is used to test the durability of tires and pavements.The device can also be used to test the noise of tires and roads.The ring roadway of the test-bed can completely simulate actual pavements.And it is placed in the sound-proof room,so testing performances should be more convenient.The device is operating,it can test four tires at the same time,so it can shorten the periodic time.The transmission system is composed of inverter,motor,reducer and two-grade v-belt pulley which was determined through calculating and analysing.As these test tires do rotating motion, strength check and stability analysis of the working device should be considered,especially the influence of centrifugal force.The dynamic analysis of the test-bed’s working device was made to study the influence on the vertical motion of the tire,load-bearing of the turing arm and load on tires which were caused by surface-roughness of the road.Working out the test-bed’s natural frequency and its influencing factors when it operated. Finally, finding out the conditions in which resonance may occur and putting forward treatment methods.Determining the test-bed’s test system,designing the tire load sensor and determining the test method of tires’ actual velocity. Designing the signal conditioning and transmission circuit.
