This thesis is researched and applied continuous improvement process relative theories in Nozzle Holder manufacturing process. During researching improvement, divide improvement theories into three parts: system CIP, point CIP and shop floor CIP, and according to these, design improvement model, research their implementation and application on the shop floor.During improving process, analyze FPY and scrap, use Pareto to define main problems, use Fishbone to define main causes, use flowchart and value stream mapping to find waste in the production process. Because the process is mainly in manual, when use Methods Study and work measurements from Work Study theory, use Method Time Measurement (MTM) of Work Measurement mainly, and use time study (Stop watch Methods) in the same time, based on the line layout, use“5W1H”question technical to ask all positions’target, methods, man, time, place and cause to finish the task. After analyzing the potential problems of production line, define the bottleneck position, identify waste on the shop floor.To decide improving plan, rely on relative theories of continuous improvement process, improve the bottleneck position of production line, reduce waste on the shop floor, involve employee for improvement. In the same time, use relative theories of Lean production, rearrange production layout, set up pull production model to improve production line capacity.
