In the aging of the population and sub-health phenomenon increasingly prevalent today, people’s demand for health after food demand become mainstream and market trend.The integration of "wellness" and "tourism" wellness tourism as the wellness industry and the commonness of the tourism industry, meet the demand of the people for health, become a new fashion of tourism.Although the tourism resources of Kunming city are more abundant, tourism products with variety, but a tourism new forms of wellness tourism development is relatively lagging behind.In this thesis, through the research and analysis of wellness tourism market in Kunming city, to understand the present stage public perception and consumption intention of wellness tourism,wellness tourism for the market demand characteristics of Kunming city,and explore the problems of Kunming wellness tourism market demand and supply analyze the reasons of the problems and put forward the relevant suggestion, hope in Kunming wellness tourism healthy and orderly development of the tourism new forms play a certain role.Based on a comprehensive grasp the development trend of domestic and international wellness tourism market and follow the objective laws of the development of tourism economy, this article from the connotation and characteristics of the wellness tourism and the product type, by using the theory of tourism consumption behavior and demand theory, to study microscopic perspective from the individual consumer level wellness tourism market demand. Using SPSS19.0statistical analysis software and EXCEL software for statistical analysis of market research to obtain first-hand information to find which contains the rules,explores current Kunming wellness tourism market demand characteristics.
