Study On The Exploitation Of Xufu Tourism Resources In Shandong And Jeju Island

The immortality thought was in full flourish2000years ago. After unifying the other six states, thefirst Emperor of Qin indulged in the immortality thought and sent the famous alchemist Xu Fu to lookfor the longevity medicine. In the3rd century BC, Xu Fu leaded3000virgin boys and girls, crew ofship and craftsmen to Korean Peninsula and Japan to look for the longevity medicine in order toachieve the first Emperor of Qin’s desire of immortality.However, because of various reasons, the research of Xu Fu has not been paid great attention to bypeople. Only in the past20years, people began to focus on the research of Xu Fu. The domestic andforeign researchers of Xu Fu increases more and more. The research achievements emerge in largenumbers. The Xu Fu Seminars is also founded one after another. The memorial activities have beencarried out as well. Especially in recent years, the tourism resources of Xu Fu develops rapidly both inChina and abroad.Xu Fu’s eastward voyage not only occupied an important position in the history, but also leftChina, Korea and Japan rich tourism resources. Xu Fu culture has a special influence on Shandongprovince and Cheju Island, hence these two places have abundant Xu Fu tourism resources. Taking XuFu’s eastward voyage as the background and Shandong Province and Cheju Island’s tourism resourcesas research subjects, this thesis provides the problems in development and solutions by analyzing thepresent development situation of Xu Fu tourism resources, furthermore, providing projects which canenhance the Xu Fu tourism cooperation of Shandong Province and Cheju Island. This thesis hasimportant practical significance to the further development of Xu Fu’s tourism resources, promoting theeconomic development of two regions, increasing the income of residents and communicationsbetween China and Korea.
