Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Leisure Tourism In Yingtan City

After thirty years of reform and opening up, with the progress ofsociety, increasing levels of economic, spiritual and cultural needs of the people isrising. Leisure has penetrated into every corner of people’s life, the traditional singlesightseeing tour mode gradually can not meet the needs of pursuit for leisure life, inthis environment, leisure tourism emerged. Comparing with the traditional way totravel, leisure tourism pay more attention to leisure travelers throughout the course ofthe experience and feelings, became a new carrier for people to get the spiritualpleasure. At the same time, because of the high value-added industries and strong rolein promoting related industries and local basic facilities, leisure tourism is attractingmore and more people’s attention.Yingtan, which lies in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, is located inYingtan-Xiamen line, Zhejiang-Jiangxi, Anhui and Jiangxi line aspect intersection,provides convenient traffic conditions. It is also in the middle of the biggest recentcommon hinterland of the two most developed China’s southeast coastal economiczones: the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone and the West Coast Economic Zone. It isnot only the empire of "Taoism", the empire of "copper", but also a3,600-year historyof the historic city, which is riched in leisure and tourism resources. In recent years,Yingtan is in transition from the traditional tourist city to leisure travel urban. In theprocess of restructuring and development, some problems gradually exposed. How tomake full use of its own leisure and tourism resources, seizing the opportunity toachieve leapfrog development and effective implementing of the optimization andupgrading of traditional tourism of Yingtan city, steady progressing towards leisureand tourism industry, is important in the future for leisure and tourism development inYingtan.This paper describes the basic leisure and leisure travel’s theories, after asummary and analysis of the research results of domestic and foreign experts andscholars on leisure travel theory, analyzing the conceptual issues, the relationshipbetween leisure with tourism and so on. Through data collection and field research,we have a deeper understanding of Yingtan’s leisure tourism resources and touristmarket situation. Using SWOT analysis, comparative analysis and other researchmethods, the status of existing resources, market conditions and other factors wereanalyzed objectively which describes the advantages and disadvantages of YingtanCity, as well as the opportunities and challenges of leisure and tourism development.In this context, defining the development orientation of Yingtan’s leisure travel industry, putting forward the scientific planning and rational create urban leisurespace; following the laws of the market, developing the project portfolio of leisuretourism with great market potential; exploring leisure with a strong localcharacteristics of Yingtan culture; enhancing leisure travel environment, optimizingleisure tourism information system and other strategies. Finally, we summarized thedevelopment of the leisure and tourism industry of Yingtan, along with the problemsmentioned but not explored in depth in the text.
