Nowadays, the mobile phone industry has achieved a rapid development in our country. The total shipments of Chinese mobile phone’ production has accounted for20%in the world to the third quarter of2012. The proportion is also growing. With the overall decline of the prices, cost pressure is also growing fiercely. The competition in the mobile phone industry is increasingly fierce, then how can we bring in huge profits for the company at the same time to meet the market demand? A key factor for so many mobile phone design companies is doing a good job in customer project management in order to win in the competition.It is as an entry point of customer project management work in this thesis. Analysis and optimization reference to the marketing theory, a variety of management in IT industry, in order to generate more income in the fierce market competition with the better customer service.Customer project management work is an important window to connect company and customer, not only to introduce the company’s products to the customer and guide the demanding of the customer, but also can promote development of customer projects effectively, in order to make the project to the market successfully. At the same time, the effective management of customer projects can also get the recognition of the customers, thereby gaining more market opportunities. To gain the trust of customers through effective customer project management, to ensure the success of the project in today’s increasingly competitive market, is widespread used among the mobile phone design company.It introduces the research background, contents and significance of customer project management in the mobile phone design industry in the first part of this thesis The second part introduces the project management and IT project management theory, research the development of project management theory and common methods of project management. The third part describes the present situation of customers and the common practice of customer project management. With customer relationship management, relationship marketing, the theory of absolute advantage, meticulous management theory, give a further analysis according to the customer in the project operation, point out the question exist in customer project management. The fourth part analyses the present situation of H company, give the rectification and optimization for customer project management problems and take the project management strategy to the practical management cases in order to further analysis, discusses the effect after the implementation and points out the limitations. The fifth part points out the future development direction of mobile phone design industry.The innovation of this thesis lies in the combination of the actual work of project management and the customer project management in the mobile phone design industry. Give a depth research and points out the problem of the related theory. Take the optimization theory to the practical cases, through repeated verification, induct and consolidate a set of customer project management strategy in the mobile phone design industry. To provide the better personalized service for customers, improve customer’s satisfaction and loyalty, and improve corporate profits and competitiveness ultimately.
