Since the end of the last century, Chinese economy hotel experienced the birth, rapid development and brand establishment stage. Today, as the newly emerging force of the hotel industry and even tourism industry, the economy hotel is playing a more and more important role in the industry. But under the pressures from internal and external circumstances as well as facing the increased completive market, Chinese economy hotel industry is also facing enormous challenges hitherto unknown, that’s if the traditional business mode can be continue to adapt to the trend of current era or not. It becomes the focus of growing concern that based on the discussion of business mode on the background of the new era.In the paper, specific business mode of Chinese economy hotel is the main research object. The author studies three top groups of Jinjiang Group, Home Inn Group and China Lodging Group in Chinese economy hotel industry, and analyzes the development strategy on the base of different modes to trying to explore a suitable development way about business mode of economy hotel for Chinese national conditions. The paper will provide a new perspective of comprehending and applying the economy hotel business mode for both inside and outside of the industry operators or competitors, so that they can review and solve the problems and promote the development of Chinese economy hotel industry to be more orderly and healthy.The paper consists of five parts.Chapter Ⅰ:This chapter starts with the research background, research meaning, research method, studies of the related literature, and forms the framing and theoretical foundation of the paper.Chapter Ⅱ:Input with the competition situations of the Chinese economy hotel industry, this chapter analyzes the basic situation of Chinese economy hotel.Chapter Ⅲ:This chapter analyzes and comments on the franchise mode, brand extension mode, mergers and acquisitions mode respectively. Through studying the classic cases and combining theory with practice to point out the direction for the future development mode of Chinese economy hotel.Chapter Ⅳ:This chapter prospects the development trend of Chinese economy hotel, and provides strategies and suggestions under the different business modes.Chapter Ⅴ:A brief review of the main contents, this chapter draws the conclusion and puts forward prospect.
