In modern society, with the rapid development of the global economy andpeople’s improving living standards, most people are demanding, for spiritual pursuitmore than the aspects of material. Garment industry competition has been changinginto a clothing brand competition, brand culture is making the clothing beyondphysical form and going into spiritual formation, brand culture reflects the people’sown feelings, showing the consumer’s identity, status, and other personalcharacteristics. Actually, people’s consumption of clothing is enjoying a fashionculture. Therefore, the value of the brand culture is much higher than the clothing,thus bringing the brand huge commercial value. So the role of its brand culture cannot be overlooked. Clothing brand catalog design is an very important integral part toshow the brand culture, playing an extremely important role in shaping and improvingthe brand image. So how to inject clear distinctive brand cultural image into clothingthrough clothing catalog design, pass the brand culture and connotation to consumersand enable people to identify with the brand and improve their loyalty is becomingincreasingly important. Moreover, it’s helpful to deepen and promote the image ofbrand culture in consumer’s mind, and enhance the brand’s influence virtually. So ithas a high market application value and will generate huge commercial profits.This project is studying and researching the relationship between the catalogueof basic design elements (Folio design, graphic layout design, color design, imageprocessing and detail design) and clothing brand culture(Brand culture, brand image,brand style), demonstrating how to inject clothing brand catalog design to brandculture for enhancing the brand image and play a very important role in clothing sales;How to promote product marketing and promotion, and propose effective ways toreflect the brand culture through catalog design.This paper is divided into five chaptersThe first chapter is an introduction. Analysis clothing brand catalog designtrends at home and abroad, propose the aim, significance and the main content of thisresearch projects.Chapter II are theories related to catalog design, including detailed summaryabout the concepts of clothing catalog design, related content features, designelements and design principles.Chapter III is studying the relationship between well-known clothing brand catalog design and brand Culture, combining multiple case studies, it analysis andmaster clothing brand catalog design from common to personality. And giving theviews of myself. This chapter is the also a key part of this paper.Chapter IV are case study about catalog design of well-known clothing brand.By Louis Vuitton and Caromio brand case studies, systematic comprehend and masterthe whole process that how the catalog design fit their brand culture Therefore I havea good command of the general principles about well-known clothing brand catalogdesign.Chapter V are practice projects.Through the "seven magpie Square" projectbasically, combining design theory and multiple case studies Square brand culture,fitting Seven magpie Square brand culture, integrating with the actual situation closely,demonstratedthat seven magpies Square catalog design brand culture fit the wholeprocess of practical research, tailored catalog design for the seven magpie Squarebrands with target.The last part is a general analysis and summary of the whole article.
