This paper takes the competitive of Guizhou high-tech industry Province as the research object, by means of using research methods of principal component analysis and cluster analysis, and then through the comparison on various provinces and cities of high-tech industry index analysis, find out the development shortage of the high-tech industry in Guizhou Province, and puts forward suggestions, ideas and safeguard the corresponding countermeasures for the development of the high-tech industry in Guizhou, so as to promote the development of high-tech industry in Guizhou Province.With the in-depth development of the global high-technology and technological competition, has formed a situation about tripartite confrontation of the global high-Tec industry pattern and it is made ofthe developed countries in Western Europe, North America and Japan gradually. After China joining the WTO, amount of international trade continued to rise and the high-tech industry has been developing rapidly.New and high technology is becoming more and more important and so as to can not be ignored in the national economy. In this paper, we put high-tech industry of Guizhou Province as the research object, it’s mainly because it has some typical. Guizhou province is located in the southea-st area of China, the development of its traffic and economic is backward in society. As Chinese relatively backward area of economic, the way to speed up economic development of Guizhou, so the development of high-tech industry is particularly important. Therefore, this paper does comprehensive studies about new technology industrial competition and development of Guizhou Province. This paper puts the competition situation of high-tech industry in Guizhou Province as the research object, firstly select recent years of high-tech industries in the 29 provinces and cities in China and the make comparison with Guizhou province, and analyze of the current situation about the development of high new technology industry in Guizhou province, separately from the input, output, technolo-gical innovation, environmental support level.
