Research On The Role Of Government In The Construction Of Social Responsibility Of Chinese Enterprises

In recent years, the lack of corporate social responsibility could be regarded as acommon occurrence, this issue happen is due to the corporate characteristics ischasing the interests and we are in the development period of corporate socialresponsibility, so the role of government is particularly important. We could seethere still exist some issues when government fulfill the role of social responsibility.These issues could be ascribe to the government lack of initiative; the legal system isnot perfect and lax enforcement; local governments over the pursuit of GDP growth,the existence of local protectionism government permissions fuzzy; inadequatesupervision; the lack of long-term planning and strategic vision.The paper attempts to analyze the typical corporate social responsibility caseand get the practice by comparing Japanese governments corporate socialresponsibility, it will make some proposal to help the governments proposal topromote corporate social responsibility. The Government proposed to strengthen thepublicity of corporate social responsibility concept, improve relevant laws andregulations, promote rational development, clear responsibilities, strengthenmonitoring and prevention, the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility into theperformance evaluation and other suggestions.
