Research On The Transfer Of Agricultural Population Under The Background Of New Urbanization

The core idea in new urbanization will be "human urbanization", and its development need transfer a large number of rural population to urban areas. However, China’s land urbanization is faster than the population urbanization, mobility is now seriously out of step with the transfer of agricultural population. Twenty million rural population, who live and work in the town, are still migrant workers, without changing to town official citizen. Lots of work remains to be done about Agricultural population transfer. Look on the flow direction of the agricultural population, the future direction of the agricultural population transfer could be big cities, small cities and rural towns. The population pressure of big cities, and relative high cost of living and housing prices make it difficult to become residents of big cities. public facilities and public services of small city is close to big cities, labor force space is also increasing and the threshold of agricultural population transfer is not high, so there will be a certain degree of agricultural population transfer to small and medium cities; rural towns, particularly focused on the center of the town within the town or county towns and county-wide, develop rapidly during urbanization and become important space for the return of migrant workers buyers, entrepreneurs and home village farmers’ quit farming city, it will be the main transferring place of agricultural population.The object of this study is Anhui Agricultural S village population mobility and transfer, we investigate the agricultural population transfer will and metastatic behavior choices mainly through usage of literature, interviews, field observation and case studies et al.First, explain the concept of agricultural population transfer, clarifying the main scope of this study. Second, discuss the transfer of agricultural population since the establishment of People’s Republic of China under different urbanization background, and analyze the agricultural population transfer steering and institutional factors according to different periods of the household registration system, Third, through the village of Anhui Agricultural population mobility and field research S transfers, S village population transfer status quo analysis, trends and problems, and population migration theory proposed by American scholar E.S.Lee-"push-pull theory" as the main basis pointed out that the internal mechanism of the transfer of agricultural population to urban areas. Finally, researchers proposed that promote the development of the county town to absorb some countermeasures to enhance the agricultural population transfer capabilities based on the analysis of the three major population shift toward agricultural and the reality that the urban and rural is the most important transfer place of agricultural population.
